KamerSnipe was born out of frustration. Frustration with endlessly refreshing websites, being too late for the perfect room, and the feeling you are always one step behind.
Our story
It started in 2024, when one of our founders was once again too late for a perfect room in Amsterdam. The room was already taken before he even had a chance to respond.
We realized that the current way of room hunting is fundamentally broken. People have to endlessly refresh websites, hope they happen to be online when a new room appears, and then respond fast enough. That is not fair.
So we built KamerSnipe. A platform that monitors healthy Dutch housing sources 24/7 and alerts you when a room becomes available that matches your criteria. So you no longer have to refresh and can respond faster.
Our goal is simple: give everyone a fair chance at an affordable room.
